Description: VINTAGE NAUTICAL KNOT BOARD This is a really interesting framed board displaying 85 different configurations of nautical knots.It is from the Netherlands, a great nautical country surrounded by the seas.The board is signed A. De Backer.The knots are numbered and identified below, although it is in Dutch.What a very unusual and complete display of knots for a nautical collector.It measures 62" wide X 44" high.I believe it to be from the early 1900's.
