The pieces are roughly 2" by 3".COW ELK BACKSTRIP - This hair comes from the mane to the rump of the cow elk which is longer and darker than flank hair. Averages about 2" in length with a texture that makes a great wing on larger, high floating Stonefly and Hopper patterns. Makes great bullet heads.BULL ELK BACKSTRIP - The strip of hair which extends down the back of the hide from the mane to the rump.
