A really nice faceted holed pendant stone that I found last Spring on Duck Creek Road of Metamora Indiana that is in Franklin County Indiana. I feel like this pendant was something special worn by someone important. I haven't found any other stones like this one either. It appears to have had some detailed carvings in it but it's hard to make out exactly what they were due to age and wearing off of the stone but you should be able to tell this in some of the pics. I can also attest to it being much nicer in person and in hand than what the pics are showing us. I definitely strongly feel this was worn around the neck of someone important OR it had some significant ceremonial use. This is all speculation on my part but it's speculation guided by over 40 yrs lifelong of hunting, collecting, and studying the artifacts and stones of this one particular area so I am VERY familiar with the artifacts from Franklin County.
