Description: Up for sale is a slipcased, hardcover copy of Nathaniel Hawthorne's Twice Told Tales published in 1966 by The Limited Editions Club. The book measures just under 11" X 8" and is 411 pages in length with illustrations by Valenti Angelo. It is #417 in an edition of 1500 copies, signed by Angelo on the limitations page. The book itself is in attractive shape with only light edge and corner wear to the light blue cloth. The hinges are tight and the binding is sturdy; the interior pages are clean & unmarked. The slipcase is still structurally sound, but definitely exhibits quite a bit more wear than the book. There is wear to the edges & corners, uneven sun-fading, and scattered stains & soiling.
