Description: Punk icon Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols was inseperable from the love of his life 'Nancy Spungen'. The pair were a huge influence for iconic Punk Rock fashion, the 'look' of Sid wouldn't be complete without his 'R' Rabbit padlock & chain, and Nancy was seldom seen without her trademark Pistol Necklace, given to her by Sid in December 1977 as he was about set off on the Sex Pistolsfateful U,S tour of January 1978, a near on impossible item to find these days. I had tried to locate one forthe actress playing 'Nancy' in the movie 'Who killed Nancy?' in which i had some involvement, telling thetrue story and newly discoveredevidence & circumstancessurrounding Nancy's murder ( Dvd available now).I searched high & low, in shops& onthe internetall over the world, couldn't find one. I ended up going over to China on a business trip & took along some photos of Nancy's own & was fortunate enough - after extensive searching - to find the very same factory that pressed these Die-cast pistol gun's in the early 70's to export around the World. The company had stopped producing them due to the new import laws & European union regulationson having small parts on what was in fact a 'childs toy gun'. The company still had the same die-cast mould in their factory& i had a batch made-up & brought them back to England myself. As the pistols necklaces are now sold as a fashion accessory to adults, & its not being marketed to children as a toy, they now pass the import regulations. The first batch sold out in a flash, many people have been emailing & waiting to get hold of one of these, & after a little over a yearmaking the arrangementsi've finally got a few more of this rare Nancy Pistol Necklacein stock now.! These are'factory direct' produced in die-cast metal, & manufactured in chrome/silver with the correct black handles, & are not hand painted copies (there has been some cheap copies knocking about) with the correct ball-chain.
