Desirable 5 characters signature signed "－原長光作 ICHI HARA NAGA MITSU SAKU" dated to 1940 style of signature( the master had 4 different style of signatures) and hand forged by the famous prison warden smith(NAG296 Japanese Sword Smith). Over all 39.5 Inches in scabbard. with 24 5/8 inches cutting edge with SUGUHA temper line in good polish and visbale ITMEI ( wood grand forge pattern) No skin defect edge is clean with 4 minor battle chipa( please see picture and root of HABAKI for proof of combat use) . Hnadle is tight and silk wrapping ( SUKIITO ) is in excellent condition with SAME stin ray skin wrapped handle and with tassel ring, Officer vet bring back superior piece worthy of any advance collection.
