Description: This unit, one of only 300 made, was purchased new by me. It is the greatest sounding CD/SACD Player that I have ever heard. NOTE: PRESENTLY THE UNIT IS NOT WORKING. IT NEEDS REPAIR AND IS SOLD AS IS WITH NO RETURNS. That said, the unit is in pristine shape with all original packaging, including the outside shipping box. It was in my listening room and scrupulously maintained. Right now, it does power up and shows the readings as shown in the pictures. However, the drawer does not open. When it last opened it played CD and SACD perfectly. I am completely unable to fix this so I have no idea what’s wrong with it. You are buying it to fix it or use it for parts. It is heartbreaking because it seems like it might be a small fix to get it playing again and then you would have one of the most remarkable players ever made. The different brand replacement unit unit I have doesn’t come close to the sound of this one. In my opinion, it’s a $5000 unit when working properly. It was over $7500 new. I will ship in the original outer shipping box which goes around the interior box that is shown in the pictures. It’s big and heavy and has to go by UPS in all likelihood. Buyer pays actual shipping.
