Description: This is a delightful Vintage Murano glass Sommerso peach single bookend or paperweight. The leaf and stem are transparent while the peach and its opache core are in gradual shades of peach and amber with very fine gold flecks. It is truly a work of art, being very beautifully hand crafted. On the side of the fruit is a flat round spot (diameter 1.5") for the use as a bookend while the flat bottom with its heaviness (a 4-pounder!) can be useful as a paperweight. The condition is absolutely flawless. No chips or scratches. No signature. Measurements: 5 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest girth, 2 inches diameter of the bottom.
