We didn't even know it was Murano until a few years later, we just liked it for its form and color. It had a proud display place in a curio until recently. Thus, it's been kept in pristine condition over the years. We can't find any scratches on the bottom! The amethyst and yellow are beautiful and better than my dull photos portray.
