Description: Both Aand B units powered. I bought these years ago and test ran them twice. They've been sitting in the boxes for years. The have the old QSI system and they're alittle glitchy I recently recharged the battery and they run smooth and smoke well. However, the whistle keeps blowing when they run. They could be updated if desired. They are beautiful engines overall.they are sold as is though. No manual but when I was working the bell and whistle controls ,the freight sounds kicked in! I was running them just alittle while ago. Smoke was good, no garbled sounds and it made the station announcements and pulled out by itself smoothly. However, I can't remember the sequence for the direction/whistle button. Just the whistle keeps blaring. I might have solved the problem, I put a lighted passenger car behind the locomotives and the whistle didn't blow when running. However I had the bell but not the whistle. I still like them though!
