Description: BALL AND CHAIN ~ Motley Crue Brockum RockCards Art Sticker CHASE Card 1991 USA 1st EDITION, 33 YEARS OLD, RARE VINTAGE (Card Size: 3.5x2.5 in / 9x6.5 cm) Pushead (b.Brian Schroeder) is an American artist within the hardcore punk & heavy metal cultures, who famously features detailed images of gruesome & weathered skulls & skeletons in his work. He has created artwork for many bands, artists & athletes including Mötley Crüe. In '91 he designed & illustrated sticker card "inserts" for the RockCards series of heavy metal & hard rock trading card released by Brockum. At the time, the controversial imagery of his BALL AND CHAIN titled artwork for Mötley Crüe resulted in this sticker card being withdrawn/recalled early in it's production run & has since become a rare & coveted "chase" card by collectors. Mötley Crüe is an American heavy metal band founded in '81. The members are noted for their hedonistic lifestyles & the androgynous personae they maintained. '85 saw them join the 1st wave of glam metal. The band is also known for their elaborate live performances, which features flame thrower guitars, roller coaster drum kits & heavy use of pyrotechnics. The Netflix biopic The Dirt, is based on their best-selling autobiography. Mötley Crüe was ranked 10th on MTV's list of Top 10 Heavy Metal Bands of All-Time.
