Description: "Mother of thousands" Kalanchoe daigremontiana "Mexican Hat" 2 to 4" tall rooted plant. These plants will do great in just about any soil, if they get lots of sunshine. The ideal soil is a cactus, or succulent blend, but we have grown them in everything, so don't worry. In summertime, if they get a lot of direct sun, they will turn a mixture of green with some red and orange accents on the edges of the leaves. Baby pups will develop on the leaf edges. Soon you WILL have thousands. This is one of our favorite succulents as they grow fast and are very attractive. Just don't over-water and give them as much sun as possible. They will not disappoint you. The babies that will start developing on all the leaf edges can be planted as the next generation, or given to friends as gifts. This is a great plant for people who are just starting out with growing succulents, or plants in general as they are not fussy and are hard to kill.
