Item List:Mother Jane's Prescriptions for Hunger Cookbook Binder, Inscribed and Signed "Mother Jones" 1968 Cookbook Advertising Recipe Booklets These booklets advertise the main cookbook with a sample menu with recipes and chosen additional recipes from the main book with a few additions. 1972 (orange) contains the Christmas menu with recipes and additionally chosen recipes from the main cookbook such as chicken and dumplings, chicken paprika, fluffy lemon pie, and baked lemon custard. 1973 (green) contains the Christmas menu with recipes and additional recipes for sand tarts, Christmas Lizzies, Brown Sugar Cocoa Fudge, and Caramel Pecans. The last page is how to make the "Happy Jar" to be given as Christmas gifts, which is a mixture of fruit and brandy to be used as an ice cream topping or glaze for meats. 1977 (brown) is slightly different in that it features the Buffet Dinner, Family Supper, and Sunday Night Supper menus, which are not in the main cookbook. Some of the recipes are, but not put together into specific menus.Contains additional recipes not found in the main book such as Arizona Eggs, Wiener Casserole, Blackberry Cake, and others. The last page are recipes not included in the main cookbook: 24 Hour Cole Slaw, Giant Gingerbread, and Chicken Salad Pie.CONDITION: Secure binding. Original owner wrote a few ratings of A+, A, B, etc. near some recipes as well as notes related to a few recipes. A few stains related to cooking on a few pages. Spine and edges of binder have some spotting. The binder has a small dent on the upper front cover edge. The pamphlets have light curling from originally being mailed and stored in the binder. Binder is solid, but has some small tears on the inside hinges near the edges.
