Description: Morgantown Glass Coronet Amethyst Slant Top Hurricane Candle Stick Holder MCM. Morgantown Glass (from Morgantown, WV USA) produced the Coronet shaped Hurricane Candle Stick Holders from 1963-1971. Available here is a beautiful example in amethyst. It measures approximately 8 1/2” tall and the slanted opening is 6”x4”. Could double as a small vase (I’ve seen them listed as such) but the bottom does not hold much water. The last picture shows how this will look with a taper candle in it. Taper candle is not included. A small ball candle would also look lovely with the shape of this holder. In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
