Description: This is a matted, antique engraving, from Harper's Weekly, an illustrated newspaper published in New York in 1874. The prints in this series have text on the reverse, and are printed on what is called rag paper, an antique paper that is stronger and far more long lasting than the newspaper we know today. TITLE: THE MORAVIANS AT BETHLEHEM, PENNSYLVANIA (See pictures for smaller text) ARTIST: NOT IDENTIFIED CONDITION: EXCELLENT / VERY GOOD -- The prints in this series are clear, clean, and bright. No folds or tears. A really nice image. Excellent definition. Nice clean, sharp lines. Good margins. (NOTE: SOFT CREASE AT CENTER.) This engraving is about 150 years old and guaranteed to be original. It is an authentic old print from the aforementioned publication, and NOT A REPRODUCTION.The visible part of the print, including the white border (if any) is about 10" x 15". Matted the print measures 16" x 20". This is a standard size matte that will fit into a standard size frame. No custom framing required.
