Description: This listing is for a Playbill which has been signed by every member of Monty Python, along with their two biggest collaborators. This Playbill was signed on April 15 1976, after a performance of Monty Python Live! at the 55th Street Theatre in New York City. The original ticket to this event is included. The Playbill has been signed by the following people:Graham ChapmanTerry JonesJohn CleeseEric IdleTerry GilliamMichael PalinCarol ClevelandNeil InnesCarol Cleveland and Neil Innes are considered the unofficial seventh/eighth members of the group. Carol featured regularly in Monty Python's Flying Circus, plus all four Monty Python movies. Neil initially provided musical input on Monty Python's Flying Circus, before eventually becoming a regular actor and writer with the group. Both Carol and Neil performed with the group at the performance where this was signed. This Playbill was framed and displayed for a time. The yellow ink on the top has faded, along with the signatures signed in black ink. They're still perfectly legible, but not as bold. However, the signatures in blue ink (Chapman, Cleese, and Idle) look absolutely perfect. In addition, the back of the Playbill is heavily stained from the glue that once held it to the frame. For the past decade, this has been kept sealed in an archival sleeve out of sunlight. The winner will receive the exact item in the photos, so please refer to those for a closer look.
