Featured vocalists include Heather Harper (soprano), Gerald English (tenor) and Hugues Cuénod (tenor), accompanied by The Bath Festival Ensemble, including Robert Masters (violin), Sydney Humphreys (violin), Walter Gerhard (viola), Margaret Major (viola), Derek Simpson (cello and continuo) and John Gray (double bass). The Thomas Goff Harpsichord is played by Raymond Leppard, who also directs. Album notes are in English by Raymond Leppard. A 6-page foldout booklet contains all lyrics in Italian and English. The outer sleeve shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2).
