All parts purchased brand new. -Celestion G12 M Greenback 12” speaker - 25 watts - 8 ohms -Mod Reverb tank - P-RMOD-8EB2C1B -New upgraded tubes Mullard NOS 12ax7 (X1) JJ E33 83S (X2) JJ EL 84 (X2) This amp absolutely rips! Legitimately sounds every bit as good as $1500+ amps. The speaker and the Mullard in the “First tube slot” made a HUGE difference. Stock the amp cooked, but it was too muddy and lacked the tight bottom end thump of a good 12” speaker. But now it’s clear and loud. Plenty of volume to keep up with acoustic drums / PA systems. Using the amp with a clean boost pedal is sublime. The new Reverb tank made a drastic improvement as well. It sounds much more real now. Before it sounded somewhat artificial and thin.
