Description: Monkey Island - Como Park - St Paul Minnesota MN - Postcard Monkey Island was built in 1932, followed by the bear grottos, and Como Park's Main Zoological building in 1936. For many years the moat around the island was used as a pool for seals and alligators. In 1982 Monkey Island was converted to Seal Island. In 1985, Como Zoo's Primate House was rebuilt, housing gorillas, orangutans, lemurs, monkeys, and tamarins. Como Harbor opened in 2021 and is home to harbor seals, gray seals, and California sea lions. Colourpicture (1938-1969) Boston and Cambridge, MA: was a greeting card and postcard printer and distributor in Boston, Massachusetts, on Newbury Street with a factory at 76a Atherton Street. A major publisher and printer of linen view-cards of the United States. They later went on to publish photochromes and small spiral bound picture booklets under the trademark Plastichrome in the 1950's. The trademark expired in 1987. Please review the photos carefully for condition and detail. Normal wear associated with an old postcard have creases, corner bumps, scratches, ink on the front etc.
