This model has the Stratocaster sound of the early 60's with the combination of an alder body and rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard is made of slab-applied Madagascar rosewood, which is now rare, and the body is made of US Alder 2P wood.The combination of dense and tight sounding Madagascar rosewood and well-seasoned Alder's withered midrange is reminiscent of a vintage guitar sound in good condition. We don't see these for saloe in the USA too often. I paid for the shipping and impoort taxes so you don't have to. There is no chance a strat person would not love this guitar.
