This is quite a modern version of the Classic No. 4 Smoothing Plane now not the No. 4 but 12-204. Finished in brown with black plastic handles and turns-crew adjuster. The cutter has sharpening instructions engraved into the top.The word Stanley was Historically Cast into the lever cap now a sticker or Stanley Decal. In poor cosmetic condition with pitting to the cap, suffered from poor storage causing tarnishing.
