Model 1940 /1942 gas mask bag, grey cotton wooden toggle reproduction WW2 RKKA

Description: Self made reproduction of the economy version c.1942? of the model 1940 Red Army gas mask bag, made from fabrics sourced in Russia, measurements and construction are copied from a genuine bag in my own collection, but made in original 1950's grey fabric based on an example in a private collection. The bag is approximately 24 cm x 10 cm x 26 cm and is made of grey 1950's diagonal double cotton twill imported from Russia, It has three internal compartments including a small pocket for the anti glare lens tin, and another for the TD-2, PP3, or IPKhP-42 anti gas decontamination kits, the white internal panels are made from Soviet Army winter linen underwear. In the base are two wooden blocks for the filter to sit on. The wooden toggle is a modern reproduction, the black metal button on the front is a genuine surplus item.
