The Reds went up 4-3 in the top of the seventh (the final inning) when Akiyama drove in Freddy Galvis after Tucker Barnhart moved Galvis to third. (The Reds also got a hit from Nick Senzel but Mike Moustakas, Eugenio Suarez, Jesse Winker, and Josh VanMeter. Joey Votto did not play as a precaution because he felt under the weather.)
