Hardcover color and designs vary: 1 red, 2 brown tweed (one has a dust jacket) and 4 pictorial covers. Solid gray end papers. Each has a frontispiece. There are 2 duplicate titles (however the hardcover design varies).I fanned through each book. These vintage books show aging and handling wear overall, and condition varies. More wear at some cover spine ends and tips. The red hardcover has cloth cover tears. Tight bindings, some spine tilt, and two books have light hinge separation of the front end papers. Range of fading to the blue tipped upper closed page edges. Page tanning varies. A few page creases, one end page tear. Five books have a name and / or date written on the front end page. The red hardcover has the book order number written on the front end page, and a surface end paper tear inside the front cover. The dust jacket is in poor torn condition and has a torn loose flap. A few other noted marks, tears. No musty or smoke odor.- "Cherry Ames, Senior Nurse" by Helen Wells: Solid red hardcover with black print. There is a printed during wartime (WWII) message on the title page. Copyright 1944. Has 217 pages.
