Description: AFX/Tomy Super G+ Benetton-Ford Pit Cube /// Rare Japanese import "Pit-Cube" featuring the very rare Benetton EX-012 Formula 1. These Pit Cube editions are at the top of the list for collectable AFX/Tomy slot cars. There were only 18 different models, made up of 6 Gt, and 12 F1 cars that were introduced as unique display cars. The Benetton-Ford's body is in stunning mint condition. It is perfect in every way, with a glossy finish and flawless graphics. The wing is nice and tight (not glued), and the underside looks brand new. It doesn't appear to have ever been ran around a track. The chassis runs strong and smooth when held to a 9 volt, and is also as clean as they come! This EX-012 retains its original clear cube, paperwork, and correct 'AFX China' chassis (see last photo) that was different from the crack prone 'Made in China' standard chassis. These pit cars also came with the 2-dot magnets, short step pick up shoes, unique metal axle brace, and an extra body clip mounted to the rear of the pit display.
