This revised edition presents additional information.) In this book the author presents the argument that the Kensington runestone (and other Norse stones) are authentic. The common consensus today, I believe, thinks otherwise. You can read this book and decide for yourself. The writer, Landsverk, was no average Joe. Among other things, he was a professor of physics and mathematics. He also worked for the U.S. government during WWII as a research physicist, working on the atom bomb. The book is signed by the author, Landsverk. It is inscribed to Carl (Karl) Rovaag. Rovaag was governor of Minnesota from 1963 to 1967. He was from Northfield Minnesota and graduated from St. Olaf College. I found one place that described his previous experiences as logger, miner and ranch hand. In 1967 he was appointed U.S. Ambassador to Iceland. Interior very clean. No interior markings, staining, foxing or tears. No library markings. Binding sound. Dust jacket does have some wear.
