Description: This unique hand carved wood and painted California Quail is from a miniature bird collection just acquired, many of the bird having the previous owner's hand written labels on the bottom indicating type of bird, date acquired, and often the artist name. This Quail measures approx 6 3/4" H, is hand painted, and in mint condition. The artist name on the bottom is G. Frank, and was purchased in March of 1990. It weighs only 5 oz.
