Description: Up for sale is a small stepped miniature whale oil lamp from the 1800s. This lamp has great sparkle to it. There are a few small nicks to the base and rough edges as pictured but also to be expected on a lamp of this age. There are no nicks or chips on the edges of any of the steps. There is a blob at the point the top and bottom are attached and a straw mark where you can see the old oil in the crack. The font has one small pimple and there is a slight indentation at the mold seam. It measures 5 1/4" tall and 2 3/8 across the widest point of the base. Beautiful five step design. Thanks for Looking
