Description: Milford to the Minisink Valley by Susan Titus Mickley The area from Milford to the Minisink Valley, "the land of falling waters," is one of the most picturesque and highly photographed areas of Pennsylvania. For decades, the region's waterfalls, streams, rivers, and lakes have drawn tourists and locals to the shaded glens filled with the rhythmic sound of falling water. The area from Milford to Bushkill in the Minisink Valley has a long tradition of comfortable boarding homes and fine restaurants. Many of the Victorian-era homes still offer an escape from the cities. Milford has retained a strong sense of community in a small village atmosphere. Milford to the Minisink Valley offers readers a look back at a time of enchanting front porches, simple transportation, frolics in pools of water, and families who loved this small town with all their heart.
