The first flight took place in January 1945.The Aerovan aircraft was put into series production with an extended body and received the designation Aerovan Mk I, the second prototype was named Aerovan Mk II. The first production model Aerovan Mk III was similar to the Mk II. A total of seven of these machines were built with the standard Blackburn Cirrus Major III engines with a power of 150 hp, standard for Aerovan aircraft.The next version - Aerovan Mk IV, differed in details and was built in the amount of 40 cars. On the only aircraft of the Aerovan Mk V variant, there were de Havilland Gipsy Major 10 engines with a capacity of 145 hp each, on two machines of the Mk VI variant - 195 hp Avco Lycoming O-435-4A engines. In 1957, one of the Aerovan Mk VI models was equipped with an experimental high aspect ratio wing of the Hurel-Dubois design.At a very low cost, Aerovan aircraft carried loads of the size and weight of a family car.
