MIKIMOTO Stunning Pearl 9ct Gold Vintage 1950-70s Pierced Earrings Original Box

Description: These are absolutely beautiful incredibly fine larger than normal cultured pearl pierced earrings that scream quality. They are immaculate, have never been out of the box & will be supplied in the original Mikimoto earrings box you see in the photos, of such astonishing quality as to make a superb gift, they are a slightly more rose gold than my photos would have you believe An immaculate priceless pair of vintage MIKIMOTO pierced stud earrings, perfectly round pair of 5.5mm luminous pearls in a pure brilliant white, have a glorious mirror luster & would make a treasured gift. Gifted to my Aunt in the 1960s or 1970s by her Mother in law who we believe was given them on her wedding in the 1950s. The earrings have a diameter of 2cm (.6" ) across the widest point by 1.19mm ( .4" ), a stylized wing motif curls out of a double loop, with a pair of perfectly matched creamy-white lustrous cultured pearls set to the inside edge of the loop, these sit right at the base of the lobe when worn & look stunning, they fasten by way of butterfly backs. These are in immaculate A1 MINT condition . The classic Mikimoto clam shell stamp is almost indistinct, & can just be seen hidden to inside of the rounded gold mount behind each pearl, I can find no other hallmarks, incredibly rare & would make an astonishing rare gift.
