Brazilian music has always fascinated Dorota Miśkiewicz. As she confesses, she is much closer to a warm noon than to a cool midnight. That’s why she went to Rio de Janeiro, where during a recording session with Brazilian musicians, a leaven of material was created that included Horta’s original compositions and new interpretations of songs from Dorota’s previous albums: “ALE” and “Caminho”.As befits Brazilian culture, whose emotional range extends from laughter to tears, these are both cheerful songs, conjuring up the image of a sunny beach, and poetic ballads, marked by bossanova's typical longing and melancholy. Music stories recorded in a studio in Rio, Dorota continued to develop in Poland. In a very different winter aura, she played Bodek Janke drums and her voice to the Brazilian tracks.
