Lukens. (Alameda County; Sessions Served: 34th; 1901 – 37th; 1907.) Senator Lukens and his Wife acquired each item during their travels to Japan and each piece has remained nearly untouched for over a century now. The entire collection is from the Meiji Period, dating from 1906 and earlier, unless stated otherwise. Please peruse the other listings and check back as I will be offering many more items. I'm currently listing a large collection of Meiji Period luggage labels originally acquired in Japan by Senator Lukens and his Wife. Please inspect each label in the large variety of listings as nearly all appear unused. The vibrancy and overall condition, (such as corners, etc.) as you will see in the photos, is simply stunning. These are well over a century old and simply amazing. I have more than one of many of the listed labels as you will find in the listings.
