Description: A powerful Mid-Century modern hand signed color serigraph by noted Swedish artist Lennart Roupe (1918-2014). This silkscreen print was printed in 1956 in a small edition of 32 impressions. The image measures 9 x 11 inches, sheet size is approx. 11 x 12 1/2 inches and it is signed, dated, and numbered in pencil by the artist. The paper shows mild and even age toning, minor spotting in the margins, and some pencil marks on the reverse, otherwise in excellent condition and will frame up beautifully. Lennart Roupe (1918-2014) was a Swedish Modernist painter and graphic artist, he as married to Jerry Roupe, noted designer of the Scandinavian Mid-Century textiles.
