Description: For sale is a Halo Limited edition Xbox elite series 2 controller with HALL EFFECT joysticks. This is a series 2 controller modified with hall effect joysticks and new halo limited edition shell, buttons, and accessories. The only reused parts are the motherboards, which have been cleaned and checked to ensure all the functions are working perfectly. The thumbsticks have been replaced and calibrated with hall effect joysticks. The hall effect difference: All Xbox controllers are affected with a condition known as stick drift, and more often than not, it's the resistance film that wears out causing bad inputs from the sticks to the game. As you can see pictured, the black axis box is from the old resistance film joystick; the blue one is the hall effect axis box. The little black square is a magnet that reacts with another magnet mounted to the stick which gives you the desired input from the sticks instead of resistance. What this means is there are no parts contacting each other within the stick that will eventually wear out and the life of these sticks are much greater than the resistance based units, thus meaning no stick drift based from wear like the old ones. This is the exact same technology that the triggers have always used and I have never had any of those failed in all the controllers I have repaired over the years. As with any sticks, these are still susceptible to debris or liquid getting into them over time. These sticks have been calibrated to have a good center zone with little error on both left and right. This controller is shipped with everything you see and will come in a regular Xbox series 2 box just for shipping security purposes. Please note it does NOT ship with the limited edition Halo box.
