Description: Microscope Ring Light/Fiber Optic Illuminator For sale- Microscope Ring Light/Fiber Optic Illuminator as pictured. Two are available, price is for ONE. They are basically identical other than one of the two has an extra collar on it holding a brass shield that blocks part of the illuminated ring. No idea why you would want to do that. I do not see a brand name or any other markings on either one of them. I measure the mounting diameter of the ring at right about 50mm, and the fiber optic end that would be inserted into an illuminator (not included) at 10mm. Unfortunately the battery on my micrometer has died so that’s an analog calibrated eyeball measurement. The fiber optic cable is roughly a meter long. I do not have an illuminator that fits these things so the only testing done was the flashlight sitting at the input end, and as you can see the rings do light up from that.
