These synthetic greases will not gas off or react with internal components made from different materials. This microscope grease kit contains two 12.5 gram jars of Nye Lubricant's synthetic hydrocarbon greases that will make your microscope's controls feel like velvet. RHEOLUBE 368AXF Rust Inhibited, Tackifier, PTFE Fortified, EP Fortified. A lithium soap thickened, medium viscosity, synthetic hydrocarbon grease for gear train and applications where medium to heavy loads are involved such as dovetails, pinions, nose bearings, large stages and course-focus mechanisms.
