This is Kathleen Krieble’s 1949 Miami University Yearbook. Katey was from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and from the looks of the yearbook from that year, Miami University was a party school even back then. There’s a lot of photos of parties and dances (not sure how many Katey attended) and football games. Apparently there is a photo of Bo Schembechler in there too. (This yearbook has lots of memories –368 pages of them!) But Katey didn’t let the good times and the games from her degree. According to the commencement program, she got her Bachelor of Arts degree on June 6, 1949 (the 110th commencement at Miami). Good for you, Katey! And good for all the graduates of college and high school who graduated in 2020, but didn’t get to celebrate as much as Katey in1949.
