Description: Scarce Real Photo post card sized advertising card for Crusellas Soap. Crusellas was first formed in Havana in the 1800's and continued there with some association with Colgate-Palmolive in the 1920's. Now a Miami company. The advertising has a real photo of Cuban entertainers/singers Olga Chorens and Manolo Fernandez. The card is signed by Fernandez and has what appears to be a personal hand written note from Fernandez in Spanish. I assume it is in Spanish and have not tried to translate it. Apparently Crusellas was known for its musical adverts and jingles that permeated pre Castro Cuban society. This card appears to support that. The photo also shows the call letters for a Havana Radio station CMQ-RHC and refers to a program running at 3:30 pm "HABLA EL CORAZON" (Listen to your Heart). There are condition issues including small holes, creasing and a small tear. There is foxing on the rear side. Please see the photos. This is still a very strong scarce piece. Combined shipping available. Please see my other listing with reference to Cuban Havana cigars. Thanks for looking.
