Shrouds create a sealed chamber between your fan and radiator, thereby pulling vacuum across the entire radiator, not just the center where the fan is. Shroud will not change "operating temperature" of your engine--which is determined by your thermostat--but will boost your radiator's ability to cool at low speeds or when stationary (when we are most vulnerable to overheating) by about 20%! Good looking, quality part the factory should have provided. Black, high-impact polyethylene. Almost invisible when installed. Mounts easily using existing radiator bolts. No fasteners are necessary. Simply set in place, and it is trapped in position. Removal is just as simple.
