Description: Here we have for sale a affordable shock mount for large diaphragm style condenser microphones. It is made from metal and is more durable than plastic but it is still affordable and a good value. When the mic clip is not spread open the diameter is 45.8mm / 1.8 in. I have used it with an Oktava MK-319 condenser microphone (49.1mm / 1.9 in. diameter) and an Audio Technica P48 (about 51.3mm / 2 in. diameter) condenser microphone, as shown in one of the photos and it works well. A larger mic such as a Samson C01 with a 54mm diameter (2.126 in.) will fit. It is pretty tight but it'll squeeze in. The threading fits a standard 5/8" mic stand.
