By SIR DAVID OF New York, This very stylish 6 button Double Breasted Coat with wide hand-ticked peaked lapels was made in Italy of luxurious soft pure wool and is lined with matching 'soft as silk' material unspecified (may be rayon-viscose?). It is shown open over a suit and buttoned with a scarf---both terrific looks. It was made exclusively for Sir David which for many years had a fashionable men's boutique in the Plaza Hotel, New York City. A very rare find indeed. The original purchaser paid $1600 for it. There is a very deep vent in the back which has a short repair where the vent end meets the lining of the coat with absolutely no impact on the exterior of the garment whatsoever.That is the only defect in the garment. Otherwise the overall appearance and condition of the coat is NEW which was why we have listed it as "New with Defect" and we have never been informed otherwise. There is one inside welted breast pocket and 2 outside lined flap pockets. We estimate the size as from a 40-42 mens regular as there is no size tag.
