Description: Real photo postcard of four men apparently in front of a theater. Rodeo posters in the background with a sign above that reads "On Y-6 Ranch on the Big and Little Horse Creeks." American Fall Roundup is apparently the wording above. Unposted, AZO with four triangles up, dates to around 1915. Daddy in pencil on the back. The movie Fall Round-Up on the Y-6 Ranch was a silent screen movie released in 1911. "Charles Burton Irwin, owner of the Y-6 Ranch, was responsible for helping make the rodeo popular from coast to coast. Irwin was a lobbyist for the Union Pacific Railroad and president of the Cheyenne Feature Film Company. In 1911 Irwin's production company produced the movie Fall Round-up on the Y-6 Ranch, which was inspired by the life of Tom Horn." Great item for your movie or rodeo collection.
