Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE At $2.2 million, AC Annie is Pop Art Founding Father Mel Ramos' highest auction sale to date (though that record will eventually be broken -- perhaps sooner than we think, howsoever the art market currently performs), and beyond the auction houses, this touchstone work remains one of his most beloved paintings since its creation, 53 years ago. And so, to find this exhibition poster of incredibly high production value a half-century later in mint-condition with its colors completely intact in their punchy vitality, and to savour the paper which is a sandy, matte stock, well, sigh, that's one of those rare (and increasingly rarer) delights we are privileged to enjoy, when seeking out beautiful works from the past. Simply put, this is one of my favorite works by Mel, and I'm pleased to make it available, and always happy to answer all question. It was photographed on a 24 inch by 36 inch frame backing for scale. Mint condition, acquired directly from the Mel Ramos Studio in October of 2023.
