The reserve on the reverse of the vase is painted with a bouquet of flowers. There are flowers and insects decorating the yellow background. MARK/SIGNATURE: Appropriate underglaze faint blue crossed swords backstamp with a star and a number beneath. Based upon the mark, this might date to between 1774 and 1814, the Marcolini period. However, we could be mistaken, so please research the marks and the dating on your own before bidding if this matters to you. CONDITION: In very good preowned condition, free from scratches, cracks, crazing, stains and repairs. Mentioned for the record, there is some typical faint minor gold wear to the foot rim and top rim. This is neither obvious nor distracting.There are a few expected miniscule factory-original glaze imperfections that are barely worth mentioning.
