Description: Meissen Marcolini Hand Painted Puce Indian Pattern Tea Cup & Saucer C. 1774-1817 Nice porcelain tea cup and saucer. Decorated with the hand painted Indian pattern in puce. Marked on the bottom with the blue crossed swords mark with a star underneath, used by Meissen between 1774 and 1817. Has a tight crack to the base of the handle and three small in manufacture dark spots to the base of the saucer. Otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 1 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide.
