Description: Rare golf ball, in this condition, probably one of a kind. Flash Spot ball is famous for one of those “good” ideas that didn’t work. The ball has inner metal coating that “flashes” through outer layer. The idea was in would be easy to find because in the sun the metal layer would flash. But guess what, it isn’t always sunny 😎 and the ball undoubtedly also flashed when you hit it. Rather distracting So mystery ball. Unknown maker. Not listed in any books. Was is a prototype? Or test? Anyway in Forty Years of collecting I’ve seen three. Tons of research. Still a mystery. Selling off the last of my vintage golf ball collection. Had this one about 35 years. Amazing thing about this ball is condition. Absolutely no flaws. No cuts, scratches. Seen one with major cuts and think a common defect, some of the metal flaking. This one pure. Has Flash Spot in red on both poles, no maker name. Hard to get good pic because of flash effect. More dazzling in person Really hard to sell this, one of my absolute favorite balls, great unusual display ball, great story and mystery. Got it all Any questions feel free to ask
