MCM 40s Sylvania Miller #100 FLUORESCENT XMAS TREE LIGHTS String C7 Lamps BOX ++

Description: Here we have a scarce, very-vintage 1940s Miller Electric Co (Pawtucket, Rhode Island) Catalog No. 100 Seven-Light Christmas Tree Set with Sylvania Fluorescent Lamps in the original box, plus we're throwing in two additional lamps (both are originals scavenged from an identical 1940s Miller No. 100 set.) Each globe-shaped lamp is approximately 2" in diameter and is white in color when not on. When on, each lamp in the set "burns independently in glowing color." Our photos show them lit up under dimly lit and dark/unlit conditions. This set includes the following lamps: 2 Yellow; 3 Coral; 2 Orchid. The extra lamps are Coral and Orchid. The wires are light blue and yellow. See photos of box for specs, and other important information. Box has numerous tears, and is basically falling apart. Even so, it is very brightly colored, very clean and fresh, and with no funky odors. The light set is likewise, having never seen the inside of a mousy barn, overheated attic or moldy basement. At this time, all lamps are working (including the two extras added as a bonus) but the set is still offered as-is, with no guarantees. Buyer acknowledges possibility of vintage lighting dying at any moment and holds seller blame-free should that happen to this set; and seller recognizes our responsibility to do all we can to ensure that the lamps arrive carefully wrapped up and free of damage.
