Description: Estate find...This is a rare and fascinating piece of history. The menu is a great addition to any collection of paper items or historical memorabilia. Measures about 5"x8". Ship launched August 01, 1928 her maiden voyage was in March 19, 1930 and held the transatlantic crossing record in 1937. The ship was also used as an accommodation ship during WW2, and was captured by the allies in 1945, the ship was scrapped in 1962. This was obtained from an antiques dealer who did the research on the vessel. Please see photos for better descriptions. Most items are vintage and sold "as is".
