Description: Here we have a very nice Mauser 98 barrel in 7.62x51mm or .308 Winchester. Has an excellent bore that is bright and shiny. The outside has a rougher machined finish with some bluing wear. Rear sight base has been unsoldered. No front sight in the dovetail base. Great for a restoration or building a custom sporter. Please look at the pics and ask any questions. The tag says it is a CZ 98/29 barrel, but I don’t believe it is.
